As the Office Manager at JOEY Corporate Office, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class office experience, by creating a warm and inviting reception to both our guests and partners that walk through our doors. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, efficient daily operation of the corporate office. This position plays a key role in the upkeep of our culture and ensuring the accurate projection of JOEY Restaurant Group and acts as a key brand ambassador for our business.

Responsibilities

Genuine Warmth and Care

  • Sets a standard for Genuine Warmth and Care/hospitality for the brand within corporate office
  • Being the first point of contact in-person and on the phone, you will be responsible for creating a warm and inviting reception experience to both our guests and our partners
  • Plays a key part in fostering a competitive yet collaborative culture in the office
  • Collaborating with other stakeholder departments to deliver new partner onboarding
  • Leading the planning and execution of key office events and initiatives, including but not limited to: "One Voice" Weekly Meetings Monthly Socials Executive Meetings/Events Summer Social, Holiday Party

Office Administration

  • Identifies opportunities and makes it happen. Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems and procedures, making adjustments as necessary
  • Coordinate daily office tasks to ensure an efficient operation and the pristine environment standards of the physical office
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the corporate office and the buildings tenant services, security, and janitorial, as well as other office related vendors
  • Managing office administrative operations
  • Office vendor management and reconciliation
  • Travel and accommodation management (partner support, reconciliation, spend reviews/reporting)
  • Achieves financial objectives by managing office budget, analyzing variances, initiating correct actions
  • Maintenance of all information that the corporate office team is the gatekeeper of (store and office contact lists, office systems/communication documents, travel accounts)
  • Executive assistance to the President
  • Travel and accommodation, expenses, meeting coordination, ad-hoc support
  • Any other relevant tasks as assigned by the General Manager

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma or above
  • 1-2 years of proven administrative experience that exhibits an increasing level of responsibility
  • Experience within the hospitality industry considered a significant asset
  • Advanced Computer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint A strong problem solver with an insatiable desire to impact performance
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
