What this job involves:
As a Relocation Project Manager/Planner, you'll serve as the critical bridge between Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services (CREWS) and business units across the organization. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, managing the complete lifecycle of workplace moves, reconfigurations, and small projects from initial consultation through final closeout. You'll partner cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, AV, Security, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver space solutions that meet evolving business needs. At JLL, we embrace more innovative ways of working-and in this role, you'll do exactly that by managing complex projects that directly impact how our clients experience their workplace. You'll build strong client relationships, proactively understanding their objectives and translating them into executable project plans. From validating work orders to managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships, you'll ensure every project meets corporate standards while training move coordinators and continuously improving processes.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Serve as the primary liaison between CREWS and business stakeholders, defining project scope and requirements
Manage project lifecycle including funding approvals, timelines, vendor sourcing, and creating comprehensive project packets
Coordinate workplace requests such as moves, reconfigurations, furniture swaps, and decommissioning projects
Execute onsite project management including crew scheduling, vendor coordination, and day-of supervision
Track project progression, provide regular updates, conduct Day 1 follow-ups, and manage closeout processes
Conduct floorplate audits, workspace surveys, and support occupancy planning initiatives
Manage administrative workflows including updates to Maximo, Archibus, FIMSGo, and invoice reconciliation
Train and mentor Move Coordinators while monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement
Required qualifications:
3+ years of experience in facilities, move management, workplace operations, space planning, or project coordination
Proven experience managing workplace moves, adds, and changes (MAC) in corporate or large campus environments
Strong project management skills including budget management, timeline development, and stakeholder coordination
Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments
Working knowledge of building codes, workplace standards, and space management principles
Proficiency with planning tools, space management systems, and IWMS platforms
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Physical Qualifications:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, walk office floors frequently, occasionally lift up to 25 lbs, and work in active construction or renovation areas that may require PPE.
Preferred qualifications:
PMP or similar project management certification
Experience with AutoCAD or similar space planning software
Familiarity with Maximo, Archibus, or other facilities management systems
Background coordinating with construction, AV, IT, and security teams
Experience with vendor management including RFP processes and contract negotiation
