Job description

Senior Exhibit Project Manager | Las Vegas, NV

Nexeo is hiring a Senior Exhibit & Trade Show Project Manager to own client programs from signed agreement through on‑site execution and clean close‑out. You’ll translate client objectives into detailed project plans, drive custom fabrication and graphics production, coordinate show services (I&D, electrical, rigging, flooring, freight/drayage), and lead on‑site execution to hit immovable show deadlines. Success in this role requires exhibit‑house experience, CAD/drawing fluency, budget control, and the ability to take over mid‑stream and deliver.

Responsibilities

  • Own projects post‑sale through detailing, production kickoff, show services, I&D, and final billing
  • Build and manage timelines, work orders, shop priorities, and field packets (proofs + 11×17 CADs)
  • Review design, engineering, and fabrication drawings; align shop production and QC prior to shipment
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, revisions, and change orders; track budgets vs. actuals and protect margins
  • Coordinate show services (GES, Freeman, Shepard), labor orders, freight and drayage, and advanced warehouse
  • Lead on‑site installation and dismantle (directly or through field supervisors); resolve issues in real time
  • Maintain client inventory and storage records and accurate post‑show reconciliation (labor, materials, OT)
  • Produce complete billing packages with documentation of overages, extras, and change orders
  • Drive continuous improvement in workflows, templates, and playbooks

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years in an exhibit house or trade show project or account management role (non‑negotiable)
  • Managed custom exhibit builds and rentals; understand materials, construction methods, and shop workflows
  • Read and act on CAD, fabrication, and engineering drawings; partner with design, detailing, and production teams
  • Led on‑site installation and dismantle, crew coordination, and vendor management at major convention centers
  • Owned budgets, documented scope changes, and protected margins through disciplined change control
  • Successfully ran 5–15 concurrent client projects under tight timelines without losing accuracy
  • Communicated confidently with clients; set expectations, escalated risks early, and delivered tough news with options

Nice to Have

  • Experience mentoring junior project managers or field leads
  • Familiarity with exhibit ERP or project management systems (Smartsheet, Salesforce, Job Board/Passport, Monarch, etc.)
  • Knowledge of graphics workflows, file approvals, and color quality control

Pay

$85,000 annually

Schedule

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Occasional weekends required
