Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our new medical clinic in East York, Bayview.

Key Responsibilities:

- Scheduling appointments for physicians and practitioners

- Monitoring and processing accounts receivable

- Follow up with payment issues from third party payors

- General office administration, including but not limited to: Scheduling, payroll, up-keep, sales reports, expense reports, file maintenance

- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace

- Implementing promotional programs

- Responsible for creating supply orders

Desired Skills & Experience:

- High School degree or equivalent required.

- Diploma in Medical Office Administration is preferred 

- Minimum 1 year of secretarial/administrative experience

- Experience in a medical/physiotherapy/rehab clinic is required

- Strong Computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel

- Ability to type 30 wpm, 10-key by touch

- Experience with a medical software such as Oscar is preferred

- Must be effective at multitasking and problem solving

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Professionalism

- Attention to Detail

Schedule:

- Typical schedule during the week will be 9am to 5pm or as required by the business.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience: 

• Medical Receptionist: 1 year
