Job description

Job Title: Engineering Manager
Type: Contract
Location: New York, NY ( Day 1 onsite)
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Understand the scope, dependencies for transformation projects and drive the deliverables as per milestones
  • Ensure the POD team is able to take up the stories, tasks allocated and deliver on time
  • Work with POD team and customer team towards the required changes in Architecture
  • Track the issues and open items and provide periodic updates to the stakeholders
  • Manage the customer stakeholder expectations on the deliverables for specific milestones
  • Understand the customer vision and ensure the deliverables of the Pod are aligned to them
  • Understanding of data project with the below tools / technology stack:
  • Experience with a data pipeline and visualization end-to-end data journey
  • Azure Stack including Azure data lake, Synapse, Azure Purview, Databricks
  • Experience leading teams handling data visualization, preferably PowerBI
  • Understanding of ETL data pipelines with Saprk as well as streaming API
  • Collaborate effectively with data consumers to define and improve data quality

Skills:
Proven experience in data engineering team management as well as stakeholder management. Experience in handling data projects with technology of Python, Scala, Hadoop, Data pipeline, Cassandra and cloud. Fair understanding of the tech stack to manage the Pod's deliverables. A bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
