CNC Plasma Operator

Sigmanest Experience a plus!

We are looking for a CNC Plasma Machine Operator with strong fabrication skills. We are looking for individuals willing to take ownership of their work and perform to high quality standards. This is a hands on position that will be responsible for operating CNC Plasma Machinery.

Responsibilities:
*The selected candidate will be responsible for generating basic programs necessary to operate CNC cutting and fabrication equipment.
*Responsible for reviewing drawings.
*Plans project piece layouts to maximize materials utilization and minimize machine setup.

*Reviews shop orders to determine job specifications and requirements.
*Strong blueprint reading.

Plasma Programmer Skills and Abilities:
*Good verbal and written communication.
*Read and understand diagrams and other work-related materials.
*Possess solid mathematical and time management skills.
*Determine the causes of technical problems and find solutions for them.
*Must be able to respond quickly and smoothly to changes to the schedule.

Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Machine operation and CNC experience.
