Job description

Counter-Form LLC is looking for a Custom Fabricator – Square Edge!!


Starting at $20+/hr based on experience!


Production Schedule: Starting at 6:30 AM


Counter-Form LLC is a recognized leader in the manufacturing of postform and custom laminate countertops. While countertops are the heart of our business, we also take pride in shaping careers, fostering leadership, and creating bright futures. What will you do:

  • Review daily production schedules and prioritize fabrication work
  • Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and technical drawings
  • Cut and prepare core materials using table saws, panel saws, and other equipment
  • Build and assemble custom countertops, including edge build-ups and specialty components
  • Apply edge banding using proper heating, adhesion, and alignment techniques
  • Perform laminate application, trimming, routing, and finishing processes
  • Use pinch rollers, sanding, filing, and detailing tools to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and completeness
  • Label and stage completed products for the next phase of production or shipping
  • Coordinate with saw, CNC, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Support team members and contribute to process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What you need:

  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or woodworking environments (1–3 years preferred)
  • Ability to read tape measures, work orders, and technical drawings accurately
  • Experience using hand and power tools (routers, saws, sanders, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines
  • Solid understanding of material handling and fabrication processes
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials and stand for extended periods
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE


Preferred:

  • Experience with laminate application and countertop fabrication
  • Familiarity with CNC or panel saw operations
  • Background in cabinetry, woodworking, or blueprint reading
