Position Overview

Weโ€™re seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Laser Operator / Fabrication Technician to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating a Mazak CNC COโ‚‚ Laser, along with supporting a variety of precision fabrication processes. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, an engineering mindset, and a desire to expand their skills in areas such as CNC tube forming.


Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC COโ‚‚ Laser equipment for precision cutting operations.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.

  • Operate and set up AMADA press brakes for precision forming.

  • Learn and assist with CNC tube forming and other advanced fabrication technologies.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, aerospace drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Perform quality inspections using standard measurement tools and maintain accurate process documentation.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, workflow efficiency, and preventive maintenance efforts.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in precision fabrication or manufacturing (aerospace experience preferred).

  • Proficiency with Mazak CNC laser systems or similar COโ‚‚ laser cutting equipment.

  • Experience operating AMADA press brakes or equivalent forming machinery.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, including CNC tube forming.

  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and safety-conscious.

  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
