Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field (Equivalent military training or relevant professional experience will be considered)
  • Ability to work standard 8-hour shifts and extended hours as required by customer needs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Flexibility to adjust schedules or work additional hours as customer needs require

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge in the semiconductor and industrial space
  • Proficiency in computer and system interface programs for production information analysis.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience training and mentoring team members in a global or cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; ability to create reports and document procedures.

Position Summary

Our client is seeking highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineers (FSEs) to support customers primarily in the Chandler, AZ metropolitan area. The Field Service Engineer will support one of our main customer locations, providing technical service, system support, and customer training across assigned accounts.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of gas detection monitors and panels. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Install, commission, and configure gas detection systems, controllers, and field devices
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and functional testing
  • Diagnose system faults, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, and complete repairs
  • Verify signal outputs (4–20mA, Modbus, PLC integration) and ensure proper system operation
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Manage assigned service accounts, support contract execution, coordinate scheduling, and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Provide on-site customer support, technical guidance, and basic operator training
