Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)


Support Aerospace Innovation at the Technical Level

This role sits at the center of engineering, quality, and supply chain, ensuring that aerospace tools, components, and technical data meet the highest standards. As a Technical Service Engineer, you will work directly with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve design challenges, manage technical documentation, and drive product integrity across the lifecycle.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who understands engineering fundamentals and thrives in a fast-moving, regulated environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and distribute OEM technical documentation including Service Bulletins, Advisories, Stop Orders (SO), Tech Memos (TM), and New Tool Notices (NTN)
  • Participate in OEM scorecard and technical meetings to track design changes, obsolescence, and new product launches
  • Lead technical submittals and communications related to:
    • OEM design challenges
    • Supplier nonconformities (NCRs)
    • Tool obsolescence and rework instructions
    • Open purchase order design issues and corrective actions
  • Investigate customer complaints and drive corrective actions
  • Communicate design issues across suppliers, OEMs, and internal teams
  • Manage technical documentation and reporting, including:
    • Customer Problem Reports (CPR)
    • Source Problem Reports (SPR)
    • Deviation forms and non-conformance documentation
  • Support Purchasing and Quality with:
    • Supplier selection and evaluation
    • Supplier training on technical specifications and drawings
    • Resolution of supplier NCRs
    • Compliance with EU CE directives
  • Support Customer Service by:
    • Preparing work scope tool lists
    • Maintaining configurator data
    • Responding to technical inquiries
    • Participating in technical issue resolution meetings
  • Prepare reports and updates for leadership and management meetings
  • Act as a primary technical interface with OEM teams
  • Develop work scope documentation and provide training as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Industrial) or 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
  • Understanding of mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with CAD systems (AutoCAD, CATIA, UG preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze technical standards and customer requirements
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and coordinating cross-functional activities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to customer, supplier, and corporate locations as needed
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and reporting tools
Work Environment
  • Full-time, onsite role in Cincinnati, OH
  • Office and manufacturing setting with occasional exposure to equipment and varying conditions
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
