Our high-volume restaurant is looking for a dynamic and flexible leader who can provide our diners with an exceptional experience. As restaurant general manager, you are responsible for creating a plan that maximizes our financial and operational goals. You will be able to recruit, hire, and train a staff who is passionate about delivering great customer service. The general manager needs to ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities
• Assures all products and services are consistent with company quality standards
• Prepare a thorough business strategy for the restaurant, taking into account the local market, the competition, revenue, and costs
• Manage appropriate inventory levels of food and dining products and plan accurately for forecasted sales trends
• Recruit, interview, train, and motivate restaurant staff
• Ensure the maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant
Qualifications
• This position requires a high school diploma or GED
• This position requires 2-3 years of previous experience managing a staff or relevant role, ideally in the restaurant industry
• Previous food service experience with the ability to oversee food inventory levels and manage costs
• Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired
