Restaurant Manager at HIDDEN TREASURE RUM BAR & GRILL

Hidden Treasure Restaurants in Ponce Inlet and Port Orange, FL is looking for a restaurant manager to help us run our very busy restaurants and amazing team members. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, reliable and self motivated person.

Position Summary

• Responsible for managing all food and beverage operations ensuring all rules, policies and procedures are being followed.
• Responsible for promoting, working and acting in a manner consistent with Hidden Treasure’s mission statement.
• Responsible for providing excellent guest service.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for all food & beverage operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and counseling.
• Responsible for ensuring all employees are adhering to company standards and procedures

·     Responsible for maintaining a positive guest relation

·     Responsible for investigating and following through on guest complaints.

• Responsible for ensuring all alcohol and food safety laws and regulations are complied with.

Education & Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of management/supervisory skills
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
• Must possess a strong knowledge of food and beverage procedures
• Must possess excellent guest service orientation, communication and organization skills
• Must possess the ability to manage frequent change
• Must possess the ability to build and manage an effective team
• Must maintain and adhere to State of Florida food handling procedures

Physical Requirements:

·     Standing and walking 100% of the time. 

• Requires some bending, stooping, the ability to periodically lift and carry up to 30 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing steps, seeing and hearing
• Must be able to speak and understand English fluently
• Must be able to work all varied shifts
• We are an outdoor restaurant so applicant MUST be able to work in all weather conditions
