Kitchen Manager

Green Mill Restaurant & Bar in Plymouth, MN is looking for one kitchen manager to join our 27 person strong team. We are located on 2705 Annapolis Ln N. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Kitchen manager is responsible for all kitchen operations, ordering, inventory, hiring and recruiting, labor management, and food and safety controls.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with FOH and upper management
• Open and close kitchen
• Manage prep 
• Maintain kitchen equipment
• Cook catering orders
• Ensure food quality and plating is correct
• FIFO
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Recruiting and hiring for current and future staffing needs

Qualifications

• Excellent supervisory, communication, and guest service skills.
• At least two years of prior managerial experience, ideally in a similar type of concept
• Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time
• Be able to keep a positive attitude during busy times
• Bilingual is a plus

Salaried position $45,000-$55,000/year. DOE. Health Insurance. Vacation time. Manager Meals. Can be considered an hourly position.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $25.00/hour.
