Job description
Job Purpose:
Conducts basic daily operational execution against the company's trade compliance programs, policies, procedures, and internal audit programs to ensure compliance with US and Foreign Government import and export regulations.
Essential Duties:
- Provide basic daily operational execution for Trade Compliance including data entry, customer communication, and recordkeeping.
- Responsible for classifying products for import/export, and ensuring that shipments meet all documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and monitor service providers' performance and report monthly to management as well as participate in quarterly supplier business reviews.
- Conduct semi-complex internal and external audits assessing Graco's global trade compliance for all Graco U.S. operating entities. Assist in determining and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Assist other departments within the company to research and recommend global logistics/compliance synergies that may reduce costs and regulatory risks.
- Primary contact with Customs Brokers
- Provide landed cost details when requested.
- Supports Anti-Dumping and Countervailing, Export Licenses, Duty Drawback, Made In USA, Buy America and other special government programs.
- Maintain correct and timely ISF filings for inbound ocean shipments
- Qualification and documentation management for Free Trade Agreements
- May provide general guidance and prioritization to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years trade compliance experience
- HTS classification and FTA/Country of Origin determination experience
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures
- Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues
- Performs full range of standard work
- Working knowledge of EAR, US Customs laws and regulations, tariff classification, valuation, and country of origin determination

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
