Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 2-5 years experience in accounting or finance where you've honed your skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with ADVANCED Excel Knowledge.
• Experience with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.
• Exceptional computer skills, including typing at a lightning-fast rate of 70+ WPM and familiarity with various shortcuts (You're a keyboard maestro!)
• Highly organized (Your knack for orderliness is invaluable!)

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Processing/Managing Payroll.
• Tip/Gratuity allocation (automated through extensive Excel workbooks)
• Reconciliation of Payroll (and other) related G/L accounts.
• End-of-month assistance such as entering payroll accruals.
• Monitoring the onboarding process of new employees, ensuring that the procedures in place are kept up-to-date with new state rules/regs.
• Auditing of locations on-site payroll procedures.
• Assisting the accounting department with other various tasks as time allows.
