SUMMARY

 

CrowdRx is the in-house provider of on-site and emergency medical services at Lincoln Financial Field, home to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Temple University Owls, world class concert events and more.

 

As a member of the CrowdRx team, the Operations Coordinator is the first point of contact for staff and venue leaders who support the medical mission. Candidates interested in this position can expect to function as a leader in three main areas: venue preparedness, program administration, and game day operations. CrowdRx is seeking a highly motivated team player who can grow to lead the robust medical program at Lincoln Financial Field.

 

In this role, the EMS Coordinator will:

 

  • Work with the Senior Coordinator of Operations to ensure that all Field Team Leaders, Support Services, Field Personnel, vehicles, and equipment operate in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Educate, comply, and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Make supervisory decisions or recommendations to support the positive outcome of the company’s operations and take appropriate disciplinary action when required.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Maintain knowledge of all company policies and regulations ensuring consistency in interpretation and implementation of such when dealing with employees and the general public.
  • Maintain knowledge of current EMS Protocols and Regulations as prescribed by the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Maintain an “open door” policy to encourage crewmembers to discuss any issues, concerns, and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Resolve issues/inquiries from field personnel regarding work assignments, vehicles, equipment, etc.
  • Act as a liaison between field personnel, Senior Coordinator of Operations, and our ground ambulance partners.
  • Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures.
  • Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations and investigations, counsel, and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and work to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
  • Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, promotion, etc.
  • Identify and attend relevant external and internal training events to increase technical knowledge.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

 

  • Collaborate with the Scheduling Team to complete day to day scheduling and to resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Assist Payroll and Billing teams to ensure submission and accuracy of staff timesheets.
  • Participate with new employee onboarding, orientation, and uniform distribution.
  • Coordinate with the field training officers and clinical manager to identify clinical opportunities for improvement and provide follow-up as necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve incoming customer service inquiries pertaining to field employee performance and patient care.
  • Monitor state and training compliance.
  • Submit Special Event Permits and Post Event Data to state on behalf of the venue.

 

DAY OF EVENT DUTIES

 

  • Act as a Medical Unit Leader and interface with the stadium’s Incident Commander and other department heads.
  • Oversee the Venue Team Leads and Communications Team to ensure appropriate documentation and timely response to emergencies and calls for service.
  • Define and implement operational period objectives for Medical Unit.
  • Conduct a pre-shift briefing to prepare staff for each event and review event procedures and safety protocols.
  • Encourage teamwork between field crews as part of an integrated operation.
  • Respond as part of the venue medical team to high acuity calls to meet compliance standards and provide high quality care.
  • Lead post event debriefs with field and supervisory staff to identify areas for improvement.
  • Debrief with the customer after high acuity or high visibility calls.
  • Pre-plan and coordinate with local agencies in the event of a Mass Casualty Incident or patient surge.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Ability to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current and valid Pennsylvania EMT or Paramedic certification required.
  • State-approved CPR certification required.
  • Current & Valid Driver’s License required.
  • 2 to 3 years field experience as EMS Provider required with prior EMS supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • EMD Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency of ICS structure and emergency operations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with leadership, field staff, and customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, clients, and patients.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient understanding of county/state EMS protocols, procedures, and policies as well as CrowdRx's policies, procedures, and health and safety manual.
