Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is a modern casual Napa-inspired full-service restaurant with a scratch kitchen, full bar, winery-inspired private event space and an artisan retail market. We currently have 49 locations in 10 states throughout the U.S. We are home to the largest wine club in the country with over 500,000 Wine Club Members! Our Restaurant Managers help facilitate one of our key values, “We Are Different.” Not only do they manage our full-service dining room and bar, but they also oversee our Napa-style Tasting Room and retail operations. Our Restaurant Managers ensure we are delivering gracious hospitality in all areas of Cooper’s Hawk, while delivering the highest quality food from our scratch kitchen. Our Restaurant Managers lead, coach and inspire their team members to do just the same.

Requirements:

Has a passion for food and wine and dedication to quality
Management experience in a high volume restaurant environment, preferred
Oversees daily operations and ensures outstanding services within our dining room, bar, Tasting Room and host stand areas
Leads the restaurant team to execute Cooper’s Hawk policies and procedures
Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, schedules, supervises, coaches and inspires all front of house team members for location
Orchestrates and schedules restaurant team members as needed throughout all shifts
Coaches a team-based service approach throughout the restaurant
Organizes and maintains timely paperwork for all hired employees and applicants in accordance to employment laws
Trains front of house team members to increase knowledge about safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
Leads pre-shift meetings to communicate daily Chef Recommendations, policy updates, and general information to inspire the restaurant team
Educates our team on our Wine Club and coaches and inspires them to in turn, educate our Guests
Conducts inventory per company policy
Controls food, beverage and labor costs
Ability to work opening, mid, and closing shifts at the restaurant
Has strong leadership skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Has excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Has outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Adheres to Cooper's Hawk policies regarding Covid safety protocols
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
Ability to work calm and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; basic reading, listening and speaking skills
Ability to perform essential functions to Cooper’s Hawk standards with reasonable accommodation
