Job Description

Tax Senior

Due to continued growth, CommuniCare Health Services is now looking to fill a key position of Tax Senior.

The position is based at our Blue Ash, OH corporate office.

Responsibilities:

Prepare workpapers for federal and state income tax returns for large pass-through entities and review returns prepared by CPA consulting firm
Prepare workpapers and review returns for sales and use, gross receipts, and personal property taxes.
Perform tax research and analysis of technical tax issues, tax legislation and regulatory proposals.
Assist with the implementation of tax strategies
Provide support to tax audits
Maintain tax calendar and monitor tax credit programs

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or CPA preferred
2+ years of relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience preferred
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills
Experience in Sage, Solver and/or Workplace a plus
