Pay Range: $34.18hr - $39.18hr
- The Senior Accountant will support various accounting functions including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, compliance reporting, and audit support.
- This role requires strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams across global regions while ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of comparable accounting experience.
- Strong accounting and financial analysis background.
- Experience with month-end close activities and journal entries.
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Ability to work within multiple SAP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
- Experience preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience supporting audits and financial reporting activities.
- Experience analyzing financial variances and subledger details.
- Experience working with accounting, finance, and operational teams in global environments.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform function-based accounting activities including revenue deferrals, legal expense recording, marketing expenses, and depreciation accounting.
- Complete month-end close activities accurately and within deadlines.
- Record and approve journal entries and perform variance analysis.
- Update and maintain subledger details and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account balances for accuracy.
- Communicate unreconciled items and discrepancies to management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
- Support internal and external audit activities and quarterly/annual reviews.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams across North America and global locations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Participate in special projects and additional accounting initiatives as assigned.
Should Have:
- CPA certification preferred.
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
- SAP implementation experience preferred.
- Strong initiative and self-motivation.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business relationship management skills.

Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- CPA, MBA, or Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
