Compensation includes a base salary of $88,300.00 - $147,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

RapidScale is the leading Managed Cloud Services Platform helping businesses simplify IT and unleash innovation. Our comprehensive set of private and public cloud solutions frees technology leaders from the grind of IT administration so they can develop solutions that drive business growth. RapidScale is searching for an Email Marketing Manager to join our team and manage all our email communications with customers, partners and prospects. Reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, this individual needs to have deep experience using Marketing Automation systems, especially Hubspot, and knows how to increase open rates, CTR and conversions.

Email communication is a critical part of our overall prospect engagement strategy. We are building a high-velocity thought leadership production house with content designed specifically for a set of 8 identified buyers. Each content piece will be specifically engineered to get prospects from awareness to consideration to decision. Our email marketing efforts will be supported by comprehensive ABM and PPC marketing. We are looking for a highly data-driven email marketing professional to own our strategy and drive improvements across all performance metrics.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Own the email marketing strategy, including audience curation, campaign design, A/B testing and analytics, campaign launches and management, data analytics and performance measurements.

  • Work with the content marketing team and design team to make sure campaigns are launched on time with the appropriate copy and art to drive maximum engagement.

  • Build audiences that are persona-specific using tools like Zoominfo and curate the audience list to drive engagement.

  • Work with the CMO and Content Team to develop subject lines and email copy that will effectively reach the targeted persona. A/B test copy for subject lines to make sure we are driving targeted open and click through rates.

  • Create analysis of send day, send time and audience performance and course correct campaigns where needed.

  • Make strategic recommendations to the CMO on campaign adjustments to improve performance.

  • Manage Hubspot for Marketing Automation and Zoominfo, in addition to other tools, for audience curation.

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure all campaigns are coordinated across PPC, ABM, Social, Direct and email marketing.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field

  • 5+ years in an email marketing role for a B2B technology company

  • 3+ years experience with HubSpot and Zoom Info

  • Highly data-driven and analytical with a keen eye for using data to make adjustments to programs and improve performance

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up type environment managing multiple projects at once

  • Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate with others

  • Ability to proactively identify and remedy issues

  • Ability to work productively in a virtual environment within direct supervision

  • Ability to balance short and long-term priorities
