Job description

Whether you come from a background in marketing operations, customer communications, data systems, or technical project coordination, you can be successful in this role. We don't require a specific degree or exact experience, but we're looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. We will provide you with the training and development opportunities needed to build a career here!
About The Role:
As an Email Operations Lead, you'll help power the systems behind our customer communications and ensure the right messages reach the right people at the right time. You'll work closely with teams across Customer Experience, Marketing, and Data Strategy to support and optimize email operations, personalized messaging, and campaign execution.
In this role, you'll serve as a go-to technical resource for Marketo configuration and communication workflows, helping teams navigate platform capabilities, data standards, and messaging best practices. You'll also play a key part in improving operational consistency, communication accuracy, and overall campaign performance.
Here's a snapshot of what you'd be doing:
  • Supporting marketing campaign execution by configuring Marketo programs, workflows, and communications.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of email platforms and communication systems.
  • Providing technical guidance and recommendations around Marketo setup, segmentation, and personalized communication strategies.
  • Building and improving processes that support messaging accuracy, compliance, safety, and operational consistency.
  • Collaborating with teams across Customer Experience, Marketing, Data Strategy, and other departments to support communication goals.
  • Monitoring email performance, deliverability, and spam status to help ensure healthy and effective communication practices.
  • Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.

About You:
  • You thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments and know how to balance multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • You're a strong communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • You enjoy learning new systems and technologies and are excited by opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
  • You're analytical, detail-oriented, and naturally curious when solving problems or troubleshooting issues.
  • Building strong cross-functional relationships comes naturally to you, and you enjoy partnering with others to accomplish shared goals.
  • You're comfortable working independently while staying aligned with team standards and broader business goals.
  • You bring experience in marketing automation, marketing operations, technical product management, or a related field.
  • You have experience configuring and managing Marketo and understand how email communication strategies support business objectives.
  • Experience supporting AI-powered or highly personalized communication strategies is a plus.
  • You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.
