Scheduling - Our employees are expected to be very flexible for scheduling purposes. Team Members must be available to cover shifts.

Restaurant Associates Responsibilities - CAL’s sets the highest standards for cleanliness and sanitation. Your role as a restaurant associate is just as important as your role in Guest service. You will be engaged in the following activities regularly on your shifts:

Rolling tortillas
Cooking food on the grill
Using a deep fryer
Cutting vegetables
Verifying adequate temperatures and food safety of equipment and food
Clean and sanitize food areas
Using ovens and dishwashers
Rotating merchandise
Following cooking procedures
Receiving merchandise from vendors

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and/or walk up to eight hours per day.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead or 40 pounds from ground to waist level multiple times throughout shift. (i.e., assisting in stocking/maintaining inventory levels).
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level (i.e., to replenish soda fountain syrups).
Ability to push and pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds (i.e., utilizing hand truck). 5. Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour of the workday.
Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands up to all day. This handwork requires eye-hand coordination and may require bilateral coordination of hands up to four hours of the workday.
May be required to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and/or place or remove signs.
Employee is exposed to intermittent temperatures (Freezers, coolers, and ovens)
