Position Overview:

The Human Resources Director is the senior HR leader for the Boston Whaler Edgewater manufacturing operation and a key member of the site leadership team. This role is accountable for ensuring people, leadership, and workforce practices directly enable safe, stable, and highperforming operations.

The HR Director operates as a visible, handson business partner to plant leadership and translates Brunswick Boat Group people strategy into practical execution at the site level. Success in this role is measured by workforce stability, frontline leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and the site's ability to execute its operating plan without peoplerelated disruption.

Essential Functions:

  • Senior HR leadership for the Edgewater, FL manufacturing operation, supporting both salaried and hourly populations
  • Direct leadership and development of HR Business Partners and other site HR team members
  • Primary HR partner to plant and functional leaders, with strong linkage to HR shared services and centers of excellence
  • Acts as the definitive point of accountability for people decisions, judgment calls, and HR risk at the site leve
  • Serve as the senior HR partner to site leadership, advising on workforce strategy, organization design, and leadership decisions tied directly to safety, quality, delivery, and cos
  • Lead, coach, and develop a highperforming site HR team that operates with consistency, credibility, and a deep understanding of manufacturing realitie
  • Drive workforce planning in partnership with operations and talent acquisition, aligned to production schedules, skill needs, and capacity requirement\
  • Strengthen frontline supervisor and manager capability through coaching, clear expectations, and consistent application of performance and accountability standard
  • Own employee relations strategy and execution for the site, managing complex and highrisk issues with sound judgment, confidentiality, and business contex
  • Ensure disciplined and compliant application of HR policies, compensation practices, and employment standards while allowing for thoughtful, businessinformed flexibilit
  • Translate enterprise HR programs into practical site execution, providing feedback to BBG HR leadership on what works and what creates friction in a manufacturing environmen
  • Monitor workforce health through key metrics (turnover, engagement, staffing, absenteeism) and proactively intervene to mitigate risk before it impacts operations

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Strong business and operational acumen, with the ability to connect HR decisions to manufacturing outcomes
  • Executive presence and credibility to coach and challenge senior leaders with candor and integrity
  • Proven experience leading HR teams in complex, highvolume operational environments
  • Sound judgment navigating employee relations, performance management, and compliance risk
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and handson in a fastpaced plant environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility in manufacturing or similarly complex environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as the senior HR leader for a manufacturing site
  • Master's degree and/or professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Experience with Workday, Kronos, and datadriven workforce planning and decisionmaking

The hiring range for this position is$118,400 - $174,000annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
