Job Overview
My client with offices in Doral is looking for Human Resources Specialist to join their team and support their HR Department. The ideal candidate will assist with HR operations, ensuring smooth onboarding and compliance with company policies and employment laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise!

Responsibilities

  • Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the organization.
  • Support employee evaluation processes through data collection, performance management documentation, and coordination of review schedules.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records (e.g., Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft) through diligent data entry and updates.
  • Contribute to employee relations by addressing inquiries professionally and supporting conflict management efforts.
  • Help coordinate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and promote continuous improvement.
  • Support administrative functions including data collection, record keeping, and correspondence related to HR policies and procedures.

Experience
Candidates should possess some experience with HR functions specifically onboarding and have strong support experience. Someone with previous administrative roles within HR departments would be ideal. Prior exposure to HR sourcing tools such as Lever or Workday is highly desirable. Familiarity with various HRIS platforms (e.g., Kronos, UltiPro), payroll systems (Paychex), and applicant tracking systems (iCIMS) will be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills for effective interaction across all levels of the organization. Ideal candidates will have experience handling employee relations issues with professionalism and tact while maintaining confidentiality.
