Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Case Manager to oversee the new business process from application submission through policy placement. This individual will serve as a key liaison between brokers, carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure cases are processed accurately, efficiently, and proactively.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service. This role plays a critical part in supporting broker satisfaction, client retention, and overall operational success.

Reports To: Operations Manager / Sales Leadership
Employment Type: Full Time, On Site
Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 USD annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new business cases from submission through policy placement while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely follow-up
  • Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and missing information prior to carrier submission
  • Set up and maintain accurate case records within agency management and CRM systems
  • Communicate directly with brokers to gather case details, understand objectives, and provide status updates throughout the underwriting process
  • Coordinate with carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to proactively address underwriting requirements and resolve issues that may delay approval
  • Assist with preliminary underwriting preparation by organizing medical, financial, and case-related documentation when applicable
  • Prepare complete application packets, cover letters, and supporting documentation for carrier submissions
  • Monitor pending business and maintain proactive follow-up to ensure timely movement of cases through the underwriting and placement process
  • Identify alternative solutions or carrier options when necessary to improve policy placement outcomes
  • Support reporting and case updates for leadership and sales teams
  • Navigate carrier websites, portals, and internal systems to manage documentation and workflow processes efficiently

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in case management, insurance operations, underwriting support, financial services, or related administrative environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable communicating with brokers, carriers, clients, and internal teams professionally and confidently
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Experience working with CRM, AMS, or case management systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software platforms preferred
