Location: Hebron, KY (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with ability to flex to provide coverage across a 24/7 workforce as needed.

Position Summary

ARMOR IIMAK is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Hebron, KY facility. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role serves as a key resource for both employees and managers, supporting a wide range of HR functions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining compliance, enhancing employee experience, and supporting HR initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and operational success.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters
  • Support employee relations by assisting with conflict resolution, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary actions (partnering with HRBP and leadership as needed)
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensure consistent application and enforcement of company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to build relationships, foster engagement, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate and support training and development initiatives to strengthen employee skills and growth
  • Contribute to HR projects such as employee engagement programs, surveys, and HR metrics reporting (KPIs)
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends and support informed decision-making
  • Provide continuous improvement ideas to enhance HR processes, programs, and the overall employee experience


What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, etc.) and HR best practices
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems (ADP highly preferred), applicant tracking systems, and HR-related platforms (e.g., LMS, recognition programs)
  • Proven ability to attract, engage, and retain diverse talent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a continuous improvement approach
