As the Director, Human Resources, you will play a hands-on and strategic role leading and facilitating the planning and day-to-day execution of core HR processes and you will partner with leadership to attract and retain talent and develop organizational and workforce strategies that drive business outcomes. This role requires strong business acumen, governance expertise, and leadership coaching, to oversee everything from executive compensation to HR compliance in a highly regulated, publicly traded environment.

As the Director, Human Resources, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Executive & Broad-Based Compensation: Partner with the CHRO to design, administer, and benchmark compensation, equity programs, and annual incentive plans.
  • Benefit Plans & Program Design: Oversee the strategic direction of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans (401k).  Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process from strategy to execution. Evaluate, negotiate, and maintain relationships with brokers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.
  • Talent Management & Succession Planning: Support enterprise-wide succession planning, leadership development, and performance management initiatives to retain top talent.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies adhere to SEC disclosures, SOX requirements, and federal/state employment laws.
  • Organizational Design: Collaborate with company leaders on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and change management during scale-ups or acquisitions.
  • Employee Relations & Culture: Champion our company culture, driving initiatives while mitigating risk and managing employee relations.
  • HR Analytics: Monitor KPIs like turnover, employee engagement, and time-to-hire to inform strategic, data-backed decision-making.
  • HR Technology: Lead the optimization, and ongoing management of our HR technology framework.   Support  system configuration, workflow design, user access management, and role-based security.  Drive improvements that enhance efficiency and employee experience. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with all relevant laws , regulations and internal policies.
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role at a publicly traded organization
  • Deep understanding of SEC regulations, equity administration, and multi-state/global labor laws.
  • Exceptional presence, and the ability to operate independently.
Desirable:
  • Master's or MBA, SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification highly desirable
Base Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 annually

We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
