Position Summary:

BRG is currently recruiting for a Controller position. This role will work closely with the executive leadership team to enhance and refine the accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance functions, with a focus on developing and formalizing scalable processes. Reporting to the CFO, this role will manage all accounting functions for a successful and complex restaurant company. This is a hands-on position that will perform and oversee multiple accounting duties, including accounts payable, period-end close processes, auditing, intercompany transactions, all applicable tax compliance, regulatory filings, and integrating new processes to support the business. Successful candidates will be results-driven, detailed oriented, and able to work autonomously. Basic Qualifications:

• Assemble & produce financial statements

• Revenue accounting of approximately $25M+

• Assists with invoicing and cost analysis of food and beverage products

• Record journal entries as required

• Maintaining an adequate system of internal controls over all aspects of the business

• Assist with creation of restaurant budgets & forecasts

• Perform costs and profit analysis as requested

• Set and track financial KPIs

• Meet with executive leadership to review financial statements & analysis

• Perform internal audits

• Manage external audit process

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations

• Oversight on all insurance Plans - Workers Comp, Liability, and Medical

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics required

• Master's degree preferred

• CPA preferred

• 7-10 years of progressive work experience in accounting and financial reporting

• Hospitality accounting experience is a plus
