Job Description
  1. Provide design, installation, project coordination, and technical support for network (LAN/WAN) and telecommunications (phone, video conference, etc) services and associated hardware and software systems to support University applications and systems.
  2. Configuration and installation of network components including, but not limited to: switches, routers, telephones, wireless access points, and various other communication technologies.
  3. Troubleshooting tier 1 network issues in assistance to desktop technicians and full time staff.
  4. Creating and maintaining documentation of campus networked environment.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Should have a thorough background in PC maintenance and trouble shooting and exhibit a high level of problem solving capability.
  • Experience in a networked environment, Linux, and Cisco IOS are pluses but not required.

  • Ability to occasionally carry ladder and tools.
