Job description

SUMMARY:
Looking for
  • BSME or higher
  • 3 years CATIA Design exp
ROLE:
Will be responsible for creating detailed designs and technical drawings for automotive components and systems.
DUTIES:
- Utilize Catia V6 with Generative Shape Design (GSD) Workbench to develop mechanical designs of sheet metal parts and technical drawings.
- Conduct linear and nonlinear ABAQUS FE solutions of parts for fatigue and strength evaluation
- Apply mechanical knowledge to optimize designs for manufacturing processes
REQUIRED:
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering REQUIRED
- Proficiency in Catia Surfacing for sheet metal design (v6 strongly preferred)

- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design techniques
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis on design issues
A PLUS or NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with FEA analysis tools, especially ANSYS or ABAQUS
