Job description

We are looking for candidates with computer skills, bilingual, good communication skills and able to help with problem solving.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all shipping and

receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time. The Shipping and Receiving

Clerk communicates with customers as required and in conjunction with the Traffic Department, develops

inbound and outbound freight schedules.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with Traffic Manager to schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse

    operations and capacities.

  • Ensure proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping.
  • Maintain good security habits at dock doors
  • Assist in loading and unloading truck, when necessary
  • Operate forklift or other MH Equipment, when necessary
  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all receiving and shipping documents.
  • Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities
  • Assure that receiving counts match packing lists and purchase orders and that shipping counts
  • match picking documents. Assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Collect all documentation for inbound freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit.
  • Direct and oversee the pallet control and exchange program.

    Qualifications:

    Knowledge of:

    Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment of at least one (1) year.

    Skills and/or Experience:

  • Must be detail oriented, thorough and accurate
  • Ability to efficiently solve problems
  • Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks
  • Must be organized
  • Experience with personal computers
