Peoplesoft Project Support

The Firm has requested Consultant to provide staff augmentation to the Firm to assist with the Attorney Review Database (ARD) to PeopleSoft Project scheduled in 2021-2022. Consultant will perform consulting services based on industry standards and follow the current processes and procedures of the Firm.

Consultant will partner with the HRIS team and provide the following consulting services and deliverables based on the Firm's PeopleSoft footprint:

  • Support the HRIS team in gathering business requirements and documenting them into detailed functional specifications (as per our pre-defined functional specification templates)
  • Walk through the documented functional specifications with developers to ensure common understanding of the requirements before development begins
  • Assist with system testing of the developed ARD functionality in PeopleSoft, document the results and follow up with HRIS and HR Applications teams to ensure failures are addressed appropriately
  • Create test cases as per HRIS guidance using pre-defined excel templates to help with UAT
  • Assist business users in UAT and documenting the test results
  • Develop reporting requirements based on current ARD reporting
  • Build PS queries as per the developed reporting requirements
  • If any of the reporting requirements are too complex for a query, work with HRIS and HR Applications teams to follow through on an alternate solution (View, SQR or AE etc..)
  • Lead data validation process to ensure there are no issues with data conversion from ARD to PeopleSoft
  • Document the data validation results and work effectively with HRIS and HR Applications teams to resolve any discrepancies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft
  • Experience with gathering requirements and documenting them into functional specifications
  • Experience working cross-functionally with IT teams and business stakeholders
  • System testing
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Query and with data models, table layouts and design concepts using SQL (Structured Query Language) for reporting and data analysis

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode or other PeopleSoft related technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree
