Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Pit Manager, is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring and supervising an area of a pit consisting of one or more games to assure the delivery of Customer Service standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
- Fully responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of the table games for a particular table or area.
- Responsible for the supervision, operation and conduct of gaming at all table games.
- Checks equipment daily for problems and flaws that would jeopardize the integrity of the operation of gaming.
- Directly supervises dealers in assigned areas in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Responsible for training, disciplining, and evaluating Casino Dealers.
- Must accurately rate guest table play.
- Keep accurate track of money flow from Table Games and do related accounting work for all assigned tables.
- Insures adherence to all IGC gaming regulations and statues.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Attend seminars when needed.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must have one (1) year of dealer experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be willing to work swing shift.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Must be knowledgeable in two major games and three minor games.
ABILITY TO:
- Must have the ability to withstand noisy and smoke-filled environments.
- Must be able to walk 50% of shift and stand 50% of shift.
