Job description

Overview
The Renewables Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Estimating and Business Development teams, mainly focusing on Salesforce. This position will maintain the Renewables Salesforce system including updates, enhancements, building reports, managing dashboards, workflows, and security. The Renewables Development Specialist will monitor end-user usage of Salesforce and perform daily administrative and user support tasks. This position will also support front-end Estimating functions as needed.
 
Location: This position will be located at our Phoenix, AZ office. If located with 60 miles of the office location, we work an onsite schedule. Based on the experience and skillset of the individual identified, we are open to a remote-based role with ability to travel to our office locations to support events or department activities.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as the main contact for Salesforce administration including login and other support needed
  • Assist the Business Development team in maintaining the database for potential client and project opportunities in Salesforce
  • Regularly communicate with the Business Development and Estimating teams to maintain and ensure accurate Salesforce reports
  • Develop new reports to communicate business development activities to the organization
  • Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier quotations or scheduling input as required for the assignments
  • Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness
  • Participate in plan review and estimate reviews for projects as assigned
  • Assist in compiling historical cost data for projects
  • Support Renewables Development leadership on data analytics
  • Build and present reports as required by Renewables Development team
  • Become familiar with all estimating software
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Estimating, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred
  • Previous Estimating experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company’s Zero Injury principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Estimating Software
  • Proficient in Salesforce software
  • Proficient in PowerBI
  • Write reports, business correspondence and document project activities
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, and customers
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Strong time management and data accuracy skills
