June 13, 2026OpportunityAre you an individual with a keen interest in leading edge Human Resources technology systems and eager to refine your experience at a world class investment company? AIMCo is expanding its HRIS functional and operational teams to support the HR technology strategy and Workday implementation.
In this role, you will support and work collaboratively with HR and BT leadership to define a roadmap for future Workday enhancements, while managing day-to-day system configuration that will allow HR functional areas to optimize their use of the system and technology. This role requires not only technical expertise, but critical thinking, analysis, excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday business processes and technical functionality including management of configuration tasks

  • Provide support and backup to the Senior Manager, HRIS, towards the development of the HR Technology Strategy and roadmap

  • Design and implement requirements in Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time, Absence, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation and Learning modules, including configuration changes and new module implementations

  • Develop and modify system requirements and functional specifications for Workday and other SaaS applications

  • Perform root-cause analysis for issues within the Workday system and escalate to HR functional area owners, BT integrations or Workday technical teams as appropriate

  • Assist with data corrections, data transfers, data integrity and drive consistent practices for Workday users

  • Testing of new functionality within upcoming Workday releases to ensure expected system operation across upgrades

  • Provide new user training and supports the change management for Workday; Staying on top of industry trends and activities through external networks and education to assess the viability of leveraging alternative ways of improving the function, including Workday as a priority

Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a discipline related to Information Systems such as Business (MIS) or Computing Science is preferred

  • A recognized professional designation: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Analysis (BA) or Information Systems Professional (ISP), etc. is an asset.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) will be considered an asset

  • Technical aptitude, an understanding of modern programming languages, data warehousing, relational databases, reporting tools and metadata repository tools (Information Knowledge Library)

  • 5+ years of experience with Workday modules

  • 5+ years of technical experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with a strong acumen for technology

  • Workday HCM certification (or working towards it) is an asset

  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits

  • Experience managing vendor relationships with strong communication skills

  • Ability to identify and partner with outside consultants, SMEs and internal stakeholders with proactive communication and project management skills

  • Ability to be nimble and adapt to changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes

  • Advanced requirements/information gathering and demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong ability to facilitate and resolve issues

  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo's core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others

  • Willingness to learn other systems like Monday from support perspective

Success Measures:

One-year success will be based upon the ability of the incumbent to contribute to the delivery and implementation of Workday as AIMCo's HRIS. By building a strong foundational understanding of AIMCo's system architecture and configuration, the incumbent will successfully manage the configuration and workflow for some or all of the Workday modules.
