Job description

Summary:

Messerli Kramer, a trusted Twin Cities law firm since 1965, is looking a full-time, in-person, Workflow Analyst to join our team in Plymouth, MN.  The Workflow Analyst plays an integral role in creating and maintaining workflow and creating work queues within Cogent. You will work closely with other Data Operations staff to learn all aspects cogent. You will also work closely with staff and attorneys to ensure our system workflow is aligned with firm procedures. Besides day-to-day operations, you will work on projects (large and small) to further the success and growth of the firm. This position has exposure to the entire legal processes and procedures throughout the lifecycle of a placement.


Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Create and maintain workflow within the system of record
  • Create work queues for end users within the system of record.
  • Modify user rights and roles.
  • Attend meetings with subject matter experts to design and modify workflow processes
  • Crystal Report execution
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Degree in related field (preferred)
  • Experience in Legal industry a plus

Competencies:

  • Ability to multi-task multiple assignments simultaneously with differing levels of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Problem solver with ability to think outside of the box to find creative solutions to new issues
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Crystal Reports creation and design or basic SQL knowledge a plus

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hand, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.
