Job description

Workflow Analyst

Apply now Job no: 495261
Work type: Full-time
Location: US - Salt Lake City
Categories: Information Technology

The Role and the Team

The Workflow team is a critical business support function that ensures seamless data interactions between our business and its clients. We manage client relationships and vendors, support essential business systems, and oversee the data reporting and ETL processes that drive informed decision-making.

Our Analysts work across both operational and technical tasks: writing and maintaining the ETL processes that manage sensitive financial data across the business, ensuring this information is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. They also oversee automated workflows and high-volume data exchanges with our external legal partners, ensuring these are secure and efficient. Beyond data management, the team plays a central role in supporting business reporting and analytics, maintaining system integrity, and delivering improvements that directly impact operations across our USA, Australia, and New Zealand businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, write, and maintain SQL-based ETL processes that move and transform large, sensitive financial datasets across the business.
  • Manage daily automated workflows, including SFTP file retrieval, encryption, and secure upload of files to internal systems and external partners.
  • Oversee high-volume data and document exchanges with the external legal network, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain client-facing and internal reporting solutions using SSRS and PowerBI.
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze requirements, provide insights, and deliver ad hoc reporting.
  • Document and improve processes to strengthen data management, system integrity, and Workflow operations.

Skills and Key Requirements:

  • Intermediate to strong SQL skills, with experience writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing queries and stored procedures.
  • Exposure to ETL tools, automation, or scripting languages (SAS, PowerShell, Python) is desirable, but not required.
  • Experience with SSRS or other reporting platforms desirable, but not required.
  • Ability to clearly document technical and business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing multiple priorities.

What We Offer:

Working in a collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders and see the direct impact of your work. This role provides exposure to both technical systems and business operations, offering a unique chance to build skills across data, reporting, and process management.

We value people who are curious, proactive, and open to feedback. If you bring the right mindset along with strong technical and problem-solving skills, you'll be supported to develop and grow within a global financial services organization that values its people and culture.
