What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Workers Compensation Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Workers Compensation Manager, you need a strong understanding of workers compensation laws, claims management, and risk assessment, typically supported by a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field. Familiarity with claims management systems, OSHA regulations, and relevant certifications such as Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional (CWCP) is often required.
