Job description

Workday People Analytics & Reporting Analyst

The Workday People Analytics and Reporting Analyst transforms HR data into strategic insights by designing advanced Workday dashboards, reports, and visualizations (using Prism and Workday Reporting) to support daily operations, decision-making, and workforce planning. This position ensures data integrity, automates reporting, and collaborates with executive/business stakeholders and HRBPs to analyze trends in talent, turnover, and DEI.
Job Duties

  • Report Development: Design, build, and maintain complex Workday reports, dashboards, and scorecards (e.g., turnover, headcount, DEI) to support HR and business leaders.

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement across the employee lifecycle.

  • Data Governance & Integrity: Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across Workday and downstream systems, conducting regular audits.

  • Technology Utilization: Leverage Workday tools (Prism Analytics, Worksheets, Discovery Boards, Report Writer) to integrate with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR stakeholders and leaders to define success metrics for analytics initiatives

  • Automation & Process Improvement: Reduce manual reporting efforts through automation and AI, and provide training for report self-service.

  • Work is performed with only minimal guidance or supervision. Work requires extensive knowledge in HCM applications, practices, techniques, and methods. Work regularly requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in areas such as:

  • Configuration of HCM applications.

  • Development of custom solutions for business partners and key stakeholders.

  • Development of data-driven solutions to complex HR data issues/problems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience Required

  • 4-6 years 3+ years of experience creating Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports in Workday, 3+ years with Prism Analytics, and 4+ years in core HR functions like recruiting, compensation, or payroll. Required

  • Understands, at an expert level, the technical/functional configuration of enterprise HR systems (Medium proficiency)

  • Can demonstrate and articulate advanced system configuration/knowledge - Integrations, Business Process Workflow, Advance Reporting Analytics & Visualization, etc. (High proficiency)

  • Familiar with current trends & best practices across HRIS, LMS, ATS, Time & Attendance, etc. systems. (Medium proficiency)

  • Expert understanding of HR data both via relational databases and object-oriented structures. (High proficiency)

  • Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise. (Medium proficiency)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Medium proficiency)

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. (High proficiency)

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. (High proficiency)

The starting pay range for this position is:

$99,500.00 - $132,900.00
