Job description

The international Mission Board is looking for aWorkday Reporting & Data Analyst - HCM to help transform HR data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions. In this role, you'll partner with HR leaders, Workday experts, and cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize reporting solutions across the organization!
Location: Remote
Compensation: $91K-105K annually
The Workday Reporting & Data Analyst plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy, enhancing reporting capabilities, and delivering actionable insights through Workday and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-impact Workday dashboards, complex reports, and alerts across HCM modules to drive informed decision-making
  • Translate complex business needs into intuitive, actionable reporting solutions that empower HR leaders and stakeholders
  • Continuously enhance reporting capabilities by maintaining and optimizing custom reports for efficiency and user experience
  • Turn data into insight by providing meaningful analytics that support HR operations, data integrity, and strategic planning
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert in Workday reporting, ensuring adherence to data protection and governance standards
  • Champion data accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation of highly sensitive HR data
  • Establish and uphold reporting standards by maintaining clear documentation, procedures, and best practices
  • Drive data quality initiatives that strengthen governance and improve overall reliability of HR data
  • Partner strategically with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver on reporting needs
  • Manage reporting demand end-to-end, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of insights
  • Create and maintain an organized reporting ecosystem, including a comprehensive catalog of reports and key metrics
  • Collaborate with ERP and IT partners to enhance data architecture and expand reporting capabilities
  • Build dynamic Power BI dashboards and advanced reporting solutions that elevate data visualization and accessibility
  • Contribute to enterprise data initiatives, including data warehouse and semantic model development for HCM data
  • Leverage SharePoint and modern tools to improve access, usability, and efficiency of reporting resources

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Workday Reporting, required
  • Workday Report Writer certification, preferred
  • Advanced skills in Workday Report Writer, Dashboards, Power BI and Office 365
  • Experience in data warehouse initiatives and HCM data within semantic models
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain reporting solutions using SharePoint and Power BI
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong technical expertise in Workday and reporting tools
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into data solutions
  • Effective communication and collaboration across teams
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
