Job Title: Workday Integration Specialist - Finance & HCM
Location: Daytona Beach, FL ( 5 days onsite)
Long Term Contract
Role Overview
The Workday Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying integrations between Workday and external systems to support both Finance and Human Capital Management (HCM) processes. This role requires strong technical expertise in Workday integration tools, a solid understanding of business processes in Finance and HR, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Integration Development & Maintenance
  • Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
  • Develop inbound and outbound integrations for Finance and HCM modules (e.g., Payroll, Benefits, General Ledger, Procurement).
  • Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and integration workflows.
  • Testing & Deployment
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
  • Monitoring & Support
  • Monitor integration performance and resolve failures.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing integrations.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for integrations and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, Java, and Workday Report Writer.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, SFTP, and middleware platforms.
  • Domain Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of Workday Finance (GL, AP, AR, Procurement) and HCM (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting) modules.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and HR processes.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Integration Certification.
  • Experience with Workday Extend or Workday Prism Analytics.
  • Prior experience in large-scale Workday implementations.
