Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Medford, Oregon.

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery RN position available in Medford, Oregon. This role involves caring for high-risk labor and antepartum patients, including those with epidurals, insulin drips, IV mag, and preterm labor. The position requires float assignments to other Women's and Children's units such as NICU, Peds, and postpartum, with a focus on providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required.
  • Required Qualifications: Oregon RN licensure or eligibility for a 90-day temporary license if the permanent license is not posted before start date; BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications; minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience; experience caring for high-risk labor and antepartum patients; valid licensure and certifications as specified.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in circulating in the operating room, managing high-acuity patients, and working with OB scrub technicians.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to NICU, Peds, and postpartum units with lower acuity patients.
  • Additional Information: Travelers will attend 2 days of nursing orientation, 2 days of Epic training, and 1 week of unit-specific orientation as needed. The unit utilizes Epic charting and has access to OB-specific equipment and medication systems. The team follows AWHONN standards for patient assignments, typically with one labor patient per nurse and 2-3 antepartum patients. The client has a 50-mile radius restriction for local candidates and may call off or cancel with 24 hours' notice.
