The Web Vulnerability Analyst serves as a technical specialist for web infrastructure assets, responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in web applications and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Serve as a technical specialist for web assets (e.g., Oracle Application Server, WebLogic, JBOSS, IIS, Apache, Tomcat)
โ€ข Review, identify, and report problems with the installation and operation of web instances and potential security vulnerabilities
โ€ข Identify, monitor, analyze, and report on the status of web vulnerabilities, escalating high-risk issues
โ€ข Assess, audit, and validate compliance with relevant SRGs and STIGs for web infrastructure
โ€ข Determine the impact and risk of change requests and participate in Change Advisory Board meetings to provide cyber oversight
โ€ข Recommend security countermeasures to mitigate identified web risks
โ€ข Provide recommendations for web vulnerability analysis, deficiency resolution, and implementation to DISA customers and Mission Partners
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
โ€ข Current DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification
โ€ข Five or more years of relevant/recent experience with Oracle Application Server, Oracle e-Business Suite, WebLogic, JBOSS, Java, IIS, Apache, SAP, or Tomcat, and cybersecurity
โ€ข Three or more years of relevant/recent experience with Microsoft Office products
