VICE PRESIDENT, TOTAL REWARDS
The VP, Total Rewards will serve as the strategic thought leader and change agent responsible for designing, executing, and operationalizing a comprehensive global total rewards strategy that advances IDEX's business objectives, strengthens organizational capability, and reinforces a high-performance culture.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer, and Secretary, this leader serves as a trusted advisor to HR and Finance, the CEO and the executive leadership team, and Board of Directors. This leader will balance analytical rigor, financial discipline, innovation, and regulatory compliance requirements to design total rewards strategies that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. Additionally, this leader will serve as the architect behind the company's benefits programs to support our workforce and reinforce our commitment to employee wellbeing.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive globally compliant and market-competitive Total Rewards strategy (base pay, variable incentives, equity programs, benefits, and recognition) aligned with business objectives and long-term value creation
• Partner closely with Global Talent to motivate high performance, enable internal mobility, and reinforce the employee value proposition.
• Define and evolve IDEX's global benefits strategy, balancing local market relevance, regulatory requirements, and enterprise cost discipline while meeting evolving employee expectations
• Define and implement a comprehensive executive reward system in collaboration and communication with the Compensation Committee, Executive Management and key stakeholders in Finance and Legal
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Compensation Committee, executive leadership team, business unit leaders, HR, and Finance. Delivers expert guidance; Models scenarios to maximize investments and ensure market competitiveness/ financial sustainability
• Lead acquisition due diligence and integration efforts, collaborating closely with other functional leaders, HR colleagues and advisors
• Develop and lead vendor relationships, with an eye toward efficiency, enhanced offerings, and issue resolution; Oversee administration, data and systems
• Lead and develop a high-performing global Total Rewards team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusion
Education & Ideal Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required. Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) a plus.
• A proven track record with a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards (both compensation and benefits), with 10+ years in a senior leadership role, preferably in a global, public company
Technical/Functional Expertise
• Deep expertise in:
o Designing rewards strategies that balance global consistency with local market, regulatory, and cultural requirements across diverse geographies
o Broad-based compensation (base pay, merit, short-term incentives) and recognition program design and administration
o Executive compensation - base, short term and long term, equity programs, perquisites, wealth accumulation programs, and global mobility design and administration
o Unique incentive (e.g., sales) design and administration
o Benefit design across multiple geographies, balancing a consistent global philosophy with local market, regulatory, and cultural requirements.
o M&A due diligence and integration
o Employment and benefits regulations, including ERISA and applicable global laws.
o Vendor management- balancing innovation, financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and employee experience
• Proven ability to partner with Board and Compensation Committee on strategy, governance, and incentive design (preparing materials and presenting recommendations)
• Experience with HRIS and compensation tools; Workday HCM and AI experience preferred

Proactively monitors market trends to bring a comprehensive outside-in point of view
• Trusted enterprise advisor and internal partner: Builds and sustains trusted relationships across the enterprise and with vendor partners that strengthen credibility, alignment, and overall corporate performance
• Strong results orientation: Sets the example for disciplined execution, aligning internal teams and external partners to drive quality outcomes in a highly matrixed global environment and ensure governance
• Analytically rigorous with strong judgment: Promotes a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization. Brings analytical skills with proficiency in HRIS systems, compensation tools, and advanced modeling
• Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills: Communicates with clarity and confidence, distilling complexity into crisp, actionable insights and engaging senior leaders and the Board with maturity and credibility. Strong interpersonal skills and influencing capability to align business leaders around shared outcomes and standards, while allowing for creative approaches to support unique business goals
• Foundation builder and problem-solver: Energized by rolling up sleeves to assess, fix, and build core rewards infrastructure. Brings a bias for action and the operational discipline to establish foundational programs, processes, and governance where gaps exist, while maintaining the strategic perspective to sequence and prioritize for long-term impact

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $248,600.00 - $372,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
