Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the President and CEO and serving as a member of FLAโ€™s Senior Leadership Team.
  • Oversees Fair Labor Investigations (FLI) to ensure FLAโ€™s standards are implemented in member companiesโ€™ and university licenseesโ€™ supply chains.
  • Engages stakeholders proactively and effectively on issues that are important to them.
  • Manages engagement with workers, unions, and civil society organizations regarding investigations.
Requirements
  • JD with at least 15 years of relevant legal or labor relations work experience ideally in mission-driven organizations and/or supply chain management.
  • Strong commitment to FLAโ€™s mission.
  • Deep technical knowledge of, and experience in, international labor standards and human rights in supply chains.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly and accurately with a keen eye for details.
  • Highโ€‘level communication skills, both oral and written; proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
