General Summary:

The Vice President of Residential Sales is a senior executive responsible not only for operational excellence, but also for driving growth and success of all residential programs. This role blends strategic leadership with a strong business development mindset, ensuring residential services meet market demand, remain competitive, and support the organization’s longterm revenue goals. The VP strengthens market visibility, elevates service offerings, and champions a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 

Essential Job Functions:

Strategic Leadership & Market Growth

  • Develops longterm residential services strategies that aligns with organizational goals while proactively identifying revenue opportunities and market expansion;
  • Analyzes market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform pricing, service offerings, and differentiation strategies;
  • Drives initiatives that increase penetration and retention.

Sales & Business Development

  • Partners with marketing and community outreach teams to help build strong residential brand;
  • Oversees development and execution of sales strategies with employees, contractors and partners;
  • Establishes performance targets and sales KPIs for residential growth, occupancy improvement, and customer acquisition;
  • Builds a performancedriven culture with clear accountability for both operational and commercial results.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Leads daily residential operations to ensure highquality operational consistency compliance;
  • Develops and manages budgets, forecast revenue, and analyze channel performance;
  • Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:                                                           

  • Strong understanding of residential operations, industry regulations, and customer expectations;
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis;
  • Expert skill in negotiation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration;
  • Proven ability to budget, forecast, and conduct performance analysis with an expert level business acumen;
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships, adapt to evolving business needs, and lead change;
  • Proven ability to influence strategies, shape decisions, motivate performance, and advance organizational objectives;
  • Ability to remain resultsdriven, with a strong focus on customer experience and market growth;
  • Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Business, Healthcare Administration, Social Services, or related field;
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in residential services or related industries;
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving occupancy, and strengthening market presence;
  • Experience leading multisite operations and highperforming teams;
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in sales strategy, business development, and customer engagement.
