SCOPE OF ROLE
The Vice President is responsible for the overall management of the Solutions amp; Innovation team, which helps financial service companies and employers design and deploy better products and strategies to improve people’s financial lives. Please note: This is not a software development or IT leadership role, nor is it in the Healthcare space. This position focuses on business strategy, client solutions, industry and organizational innovation and transformation, rather than leading engineering or infrastructure. This is a key leadership role that oversees the successful design and execution of projects and initiatives that provide frameworks, tools, and advice on financial health strategy, product development, and performance management. Technology plays a critical role in building experiences that empower consumer and worker financial health, and the Vice President leads efforts with both fintechs and incumbents to responsibly leverage the latest technologies to tailor solutions to the financially vulnerable.
Over the last 20+ years, Financial Health Network has partnered with financial service companies and employers to drive innovation that measurably improves consumer and worker financial health. We are retooling for our next chapter of influence, building on our past success and being responsive to a rapidly changing environment. We seek a senior leader who is energized about examining what we do today and figuring out how to evolve the work for the future. The role requires a strong team leader and an entrepreneurial problem solver who is comfortable with experimentation, building new products and businesses, and securing customers and partners. This position reports to the President and leads a team of 9 high-performing professionals and an annual budget of approximately $3M.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
LOCATION
Chicago or Fully Remote (U.S. Based)
SALARY RANGE

  • Deep financial services industry knowledge and credibility, including a strong understanding of the evolving needs of large financial institutions and emerging financial technologies, including fintech, generative AI, and agentic AI, with the ability to translate these trends into practical strategies that improve consumer experiences and advance financial health outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience with go-to-market strategy, including track record of shaping and advancing new offerings, solutions, or advisory products in evolving and emerging markets
  • Demonstrated commitment to embedding equity and driving equitable financial health outcomes in all of our work

  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in an innovative, learning-focused organization and readily embrace change
  • Ability to commit to up to 10% domestic travel, with occasional evening meetings approximately (1-2/month)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Solutions Development and Delivery
  • Lead the development and delivery of new and evolved products, solutions and initiatives that are aligned with our organizational strategy, capable of generating revenue, and designed to drive positive impact on financial health

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders that advance the organization’s mission, including serving as an executive sponsor for a portfolio of strategic customer relationships
  • Represent the organization at external events with senior-level leaders
Business Line and Organizational Leadership
  • Develop annual budget and manage financial performance and reporting throughout the year
