Job description

Integrity Operations strives to create a safe atmosphere for Meta's communities by way of effective support, education, and care for the various people around the world who use our platforms. We pride ourselves in helping prevent online and real-world harm by building fast, scalable support systems to address safety-related incidents on our products, and by influencing others to collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.Content and Integrity Operations' focus is on improving the health of our products and helping people understand how to use them through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions. Those who join our teams are committed to about solving people's issues, and are advocates for the Facebook and Instagram communities. We need partners who can align cross-functional teams to improve the experience on our platforms.We are seeking an experienced project manager with a passion for mitigating real world harm and protecting our community to join our Content and Integrity Operations Team. We count on our project managers to deliver both qualitative and quantitative insight into user behavior in order to drive prevention and detection solutions at scale. By working cross-functionally, we identify and pursue areas for process and product improvement, enabling us to better protect our community at scale. And by focusing on decision quality, we ensure that we are held accountable for our actions. This role will work closely with partners across Security, Engineering, Policy, and other Meta teams to drive operational projects in a fast-paced and data-driven environment.
Project Manager, Content and Integrity Operations Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development, working directly with global cross-functional teams to implement next-generation community experiences through process, policy, and product improvements
  • Manage and improve day-to-day operations against quality and efficiency targets in a highly dynamic and dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Analyze data to identify user trends and malicious behavior and suggest recommendations to improve operations
  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems
  • Lead investigations and resolve issues that are escalated to the team regarding potentially abusive content or real-world threats
  • Help create scalable policies and processes to solve complex business problems and ensure the safety of the community
  • Build cross-functional partnerships to create better solutions for our community and users
  • Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material
  • This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing
  • Develop an understanding of content integrity issues and how they affect our community
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines across multiple concurrent integrity initiatives, escalating blockers to appropriate stakeholders
  • Compile and analyze operational data to surface trends, identify process gaps, and support reporting for integrity leadership
  • Collaborate with policy, legal, trust and safety, and vendor operations teams to align on workflow requirements and process changes

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in an operations, technology, management consulting, or equivalent environment
  • 2+ years of work experience in role involving strategic/analytical initiatives (project management, consulting experience, data analysis or technical systems) and/or customer operations
  • Experience communicating with a variety of audiences, including engineering and technical teams
  • Experience managing and prioritizing projects end-to-end across various stakeholders and functions
  • Experience making data-informed decisions on content or operational issues, including documenting rationale and trade-offs and exhibiting grace under pressure
  • Capacity to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Meta products and their community features
  • 1+ year of experience working with data tools such as SQL, SAS, and data visualization (e.g. Tableau) tools
  • Experience working in a content integrity, trust and safety, or online exploitation mitigation environment, including familiarity with child safety or non-consensual content policy areas
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of other programming languages, e.g. Python, R
  • Familiarity with content review operations workflows, escalation frameworks, or vendor management in a scaled operations setting
  • Exposure to process documentation methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks in an operations context
