Job description

Job Title: Marketing Manager - Content & Operations
Location: Grandview Heights, Ohio
Job Type: Full-time
If you're looking for a meaningful career, you might find it at Northwest!
This position is based in our Grandview Heights, Ohio office, and is fully on-site. This is not a remote position.
This is a hands-on marketing role for a versatile marketing professional who enjoys both creative execution and operational ownership. You won't be managing a large marketing team or specializing in one narrow area - you'll personally execute work across design, digital, communications, projects and marketing operations.
The Marketing Manager works in both execution and consultative capacities. For established marketing needs, you would independently manage the work from request through completion. For new objectives, problems, or opportunities, you would apply your marketing expertise to evaluate the need, recommend an approach, and then execute the solution. In both cases, you'd own organization, quality, timelines, follow-through, and proactive communication. In a given week you could juggle updating designs in Adobe, copyediting our newsletters, updating our websites, running reports on our social media activity, coordinating an event, updating collateral, suggesting improvements to a process, and networking at a client event.
What does the Marketing Manager - Content & Operations do at Northwest?
  • Partners with the Director of Marketing and Talent to keep our current marketing systems operating to our standard of excellence, while supporting new initiatives and identifying ways to optimize and evolve our systems
  • Manages process and outcomes for assigned systems and projects; this role does not manage other team members.
  • Executes on graphic design needs and manages assets in Adobe
  • Takes full accountability for digital presence, including; monthly newsletters, social media channels, website administration
  • Supports corporate presence and resources, including corporate collateral, internal communications, flyers, advertisements, swag items & internal b, and PR
  • Follows established processes to onboard and offboard team members and offices
  • Administers sales tools such as Canva, Continuing Education, and corporate-level event support
  • Evaluates and improves marketing technology, AI, automation, tools, and processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Serves as a marketing subject-matter expert, identifying opportunities, researching options, recommending solutions, and determining how work should be approached.
  • Develops and executes multi-channel marketing across digital, email, social media, web, content, events, and other client-facing channels.
Required qualifications:
  • Demonstrated graphic design experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (portfolio or work samples may be requested)
  • Proven experience independently managing marketing projects, campaigns, or operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital marketing, content, email, social media, websites, and marketing technology.
  • Ability to evaluate a business or marketing need and develop an effective recommendation and execution plan.
  • Strong project management skills, including ownership of priorities, deadlines, details, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and quality control skills.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Aptitude for learning, evaluating, and optimizing technology, including AI and automation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, proactively communicate status, and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
Benefits
  • PTO begins accruing on your first day
  • 10 paid holidays annually
