Job description

Location: 100% Remote - ***Candidates who can work onsite in Northbrook 1-2 days/week are a big plus!

Overview:

  • Client is looking for a Digital Content Specialist to support their team responsible for content design and publishing across their digital estate, including website and satellite web properties.
  • This person will work on a small team of Web Content Specialists that intakes content briefs from various stakeholders, work with that stakeholder to build and review the web page, and get it published.
  • There will be no hands on UX design, copywriting, or SEO research involved, but it will be good for this person to have a strong understanding of those areas to know what will work best.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, structure, and publish content in a Drupal CMS environment.
  • Manage content through all phases of web delivery, including project kickoffs, quality and performance reviews, and content updates.
  • Adhere to editorial calendars in support of campaign and content delivery deadlines and ensure copy aligns with brand and content quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with Web Content team and various UL stakeholders to complete initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as Digital Content Specialist
  • Strong experience with Drupal CMS
  • Solid skills with HTML and CSS to work with code
  • Understanding of UX best practices, layout, graphic design, SEO, etc.
  • Skilled in using project management tools, preferably Workfront, to keep projects up to date and on time.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and multiple projects in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work across teams and stakeholders.
Compensation 
Hourly Rate Range - $30-$40/ hr
